Zaragoza City Council in Spain has begun to renovate the artificial turf of seven municipal football and rugby fields in the city.
City Council has set 1.9 million euros aside to replacement of the carpet of six artificial grass football and rugby fields and the installation of completely new field.
By replacing natural grass with artificial grass, City Council foresees it can reduce maintenance of the field and increase its usage.
All fields will be replaced and installed this summer to ensure they’ll be ready before the start of the new season. Installing company is Mondo Ibérica.
